Thai traditional massage or "Nuat phaen boran", as it is called in Thai, is a treatment technique that strengthens and balances the body's energy systems.
No oils are used in the Thai massage and you keep loose-fitting clothes on during the treatment. The masseur uses not only his hands, but forearms, elbows and thumbs to treat acupressure points on different parts of the body to improve circulation, relieve pain and increase mobility.
At Uggla we have taken the traditional Thai massage to Stockholm and adapted it to a massage bench, which means that some of the stretching that is normally involved and performed on the floor in a Thai massage is removed.
Available in 50 and 75 min treatments.

He used massage as a tool to help people relieve pain as well as recover from various illnesses. Thai massage then spread to Thailand where it became an important part of traditional Thai medicine.
